About Barena Group

Building Global Rubber Trade Excellence Since 2010.

Our Origins

At Barena Group, we harness the potential of natural and synthetic rubber to transform industries, enhance supply chains, and advance global manufacturing. Established in Kuala Lumpur on September 23, 2011, we create significant business value through strategic material selection and innovative procedures that benefit our clients, suppliers, and partners.

Our focus centers on connecting Southeast Asia's premium natural rubber resources with markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. This commitment has earned us memberships in prestigious rubber associations worldwide, positioning us at the forefront of industry developments.

Our strategic membership with the Malaysian Rubber Board (Lembaga Getah Malaysia) strengthens our contribution to the modernization of Malaysia's rubber sector. With Singapore serving as a major trading hub, our participation in the International Rubber Study Group provides us with critical market intelligence and industry forecasts. Our membership in the Rubber Trade Association of Europe further reinforces our growing European market presence.

Our Heritage of Innovation

Barena Group's journey began in 2010 as a pioneering cup lump collection center. As the first—and to date, only—international company granted an official MRB license to operate such facilities, we rapidly expanded from a single location to six collection centers throughout northern and central Malaysia.

By establishing direct relationships with farmers, we became a trusted supplier to Malaysia's prominent rubber manufacturers. As demand grew, we extended our sourcing to include cup lump and block rubber from Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

In September 2011, leveraging our robust supply chain expertise, we advanced into the global rubber trade by establishing Barena Group, aspiring to become an industry leader.

Today, Barena Group plays a vital role in the global supply chain, sourcing both natural and synthetic rubber from producers and distributing to manufacturers worldwide, with particular focus on tire manufacturers and rubber goods producers. Our industry knowledge, technical expertise, and extensive network of producers and logistics partners enable us to deliver premium quality products with unmatched reliability.

Our Mission

We deliver premium rubber products and exceptional services that create sustainable value for our customers and stakeholders. Through operational excellence and industry expertise, we maximize long-term profitability while building enduring partnerships across the global rubber supply chain.

Our Vision

To be universally recognized as the partner of choice in the global rubber industry, setting the standard for product quality, supply reliability, and customer-focused solutions that drive industrial advancement and economic progress.
